  • White frosting
  • While jelly beans
  • Black decorator's gel

  5. Add a tiny triangle cut from a watermelon slice candy for a nose.
  6. Use brown M&M Minis for ears and cheeks.
  7. Create the groundhogs teeth with a rectangular piece of white jelly bean.
  8. Sprinkle chocolate cookie crumbs around the partially emerged groundhog, so it looks like dirt.

I'm a Little Groundhog Sing-a-long

(Tune: "I'm a Little Teapot")
I'm a little groundhog, it's my day.
Wake and stretch; go out and play.
Down in my burrow, down so deep,
Time to wake up, from my long winter's sleep.
Grumble, grumble, scratch, scratch, (dramatic action)
Grunt, grunt, yawn.
I'll eat my breakfast in your front lawn.
I'm a little groundhog, it's my day.
Wake and stretch; go out and play.

Shadow Time Sing-a-long

(Tune: "The Itsy-bitsy Spider")
The furry little groundhog
Goes in his hole to sleep,
Through the cold winter's
Snow and ice so deep,
In February
He stretches to and fro,
Does the furry little groundhog
Get scared by his shadow?
